Improvements to groups

I feel groups are a looked over thing. The groups get traded often and there isn't much stability in them. I believe they should be looked at as more of a prestigious accomplishment on the forum than they currently are. I believe adding a creation date, a picture of the userbar, and current members list, all accessible via the User CP will create a desire for members to own their own group, and aspire to be a member of a more respectable group. Personally I believe at their current state groups are messy, without much attraction. There isn't an up to date thread showing the current groups (which in my opinion should be an immediate thing with the amount of money a group costs). And with so many groups on the forum I believe they're often overlooked. These suggestions would be a huge improvement in the group section of the forum. I know groups are bought quite often and there is a demand for them at their current state, so this may not be a priority, but I do think they are useful suggestions.

I feel like groups on this site are pointless because there are so many of them and the sub forums aren't active that much like the groups I've been in and a group I owned in the past.

But the things you said though could def improve it!

Good ideas. Something definitely needs to be done. Maybe give special perks to group owners that reach a certain tenure?

I think there should be group rep, but by staff, based on how much the group has helped the community, such as - If the group does a 50$ giveaway, thats grounds to raise the group rep.. as they've done something nice.
