Dual monitors are cool for gaming, but for the beset gaming experience, 3 monitors would be best. And, those monitors you were looking at don't look too good.

Get 2 to 3 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009314

They are silver. Doesn't go with the 'theme' on my desk :/

You can tell I'm a huge nerd. But, they are £50 each. Thanks for the link.

Meh, I wouldn't stick to a desk "theme" but it's your choice. Style + cheap monitor + poor quality monitor or tad more expensive monitor + good quality monitor + not style.

Good point. Unfortunately though, Newegg is American. I'm British. I don't want to pay VAT, etc.

If your going to game on two monitor. It's going to put more stress on your GPU. You'll probably have to run it on low. That's depending on your GPU.

Also, GTX460 isn't so great. I would get 6870.

For Headset, Logitech G35 are better.

It does barely anything to the GPU ._.
The 'stress' is insignificant..

Excuse me? I'd like to see GTX460 run BF3 on two 1920x1080 monitors.

Maybe, you should research before you post.

Wtf does that pic have to do with anything, besides the fact that Resolution scales with Performance..

Again, the GPU will be fine running dual monitors :|

You honestly don't understand what I'm trying to say.

Those resolution are nerly same resolution of two screens.

19.2 FPS will not be playable, Human eye can only see around about 27 FPS.

It'll be fain for casual use. But for gaming, it won't be playable.

Also, compare 1920x1200 to 2560x1600. Huge performance decrease.

You basically restated what I just said, yet you claim that I 'don't understand.'
Good one..

And not everyone has to be high tech, some people play games on 20 FPS everyday.

Sprite, I don't think you understand what Storm is trying to say. He's saying that the GPU performance is scaled relatively close to that of the resolution. The more pixels == more GPU load. Naturally, FPS drop is going to occur. That DOESN'T mean that the GPU can't handle it. With that screenshot, turn off the 4x AA and the performance will go up a little.

@Immorality
The eye can see wayyyyy more than 27FPS. We tested it in physics back when I was in Year 12.
Also, you're a very bias person. Constantly recommending AMD/ATI parts without even offering what the competitors equal model is, even though AMD are behind.

I'm not a AMD fan boy. But 6870 is better compare to GTX460 and GTX560 Ti

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/313?vs=290
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/290?vs=330

Also, doubt a single GTX460 would be able to run at such high resolution. Also 1GB of VRam won't be enough for playing at high resolution. Especially BF3, Which requires a lot of vRAM

20FPS? How on earth can you play on 20FPS. Try playing CODMW3 at 20 FPS. You'll rage quit.

Also how is AMD behind? AMD is releasing there new 7000 series. Also AMD Crossfire far much more better compare to SLI.

I wouldn't say the 6870 is better than the 560. I would say they are equal. It beats the 460, but it's also an outdated card. It's better to say both equal brands so that if someone did intend on upgrading and they're an nVidia fanboy, they know what to pick.

A 460 would support dual screen. The quality would have to be set relatively low/medium, but it would still run.

For shits and giggles, I just popped my other 24" monitor off my 2nd rig onto this one and I'm on a OC'd 5770. Runs stable (enough) on medium settings with 2x 24" monitors.

Well said my friend.

I said people, not refering to myself, and it doesn't always have to include high end games..
Also the fact that you 'doubt' that it will be able to run BF3 doesn't mean it won't. Believe it or not, not everything has to be ran on SUPERULTRAL0LMODE to be playable.

This.

But I wont be using both screens for gaming you see.

Why do I always start rage fests?

Oh yeah, I know that. Of course it does.

As for the case, it's nice. But I got my Antec 300 working today and that's my style of case.
I was referring that to iStorm.

Also, what's your current GPU?
