eXero said:Dual monitors are cool for gaming, but for the beset gaming experience, 3 monitors would be best. And, those monitors you were looking at don't look too good.
Get 2 to 3 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009314
eXero said:Meh, I wouldn't stick to a desk "theme" but it's your choice. Style + cheap monitor + poor quality monitor or tad more expensive monitor + good quality monitor + not style.

The 'stress' is insignificant..

I'm not a AMD fan boy. But 6870 is better compare to GTX460 and GTX560 Timichaelkr1 said:Sprite, I don't think you understand what Storm is trying to say. He's saying that the GPU performance is scaled relatively close to that of the resolution. The more pixels == more GPU load. Naturally, FPS drop is going to occur. That DOESN'T mean that the GPU can't handle it. With that screenshot, turn off the 4x AA and the performance will go up a little.
@Immorality
The eye can see wayyyyy more than 27FPS. We tested it in physics back when I was in Year 12.
Also, you're a very bias person. Constantly recommending AMD/ATI parts without even offering what the competitors equal model is, even though AMD are behind.

Good one..
And not everyone has to be high tech, some people play games on 20 FPS everyday.
..
I know proper english and you don't.Sprite said:Immortality knows what you don't

I said people, not refering to myself, and it doesn't always have to include high end games..Immortality said:I'm not a AMD fan
20FPS? How on earth can you play on 20FPS. Try playing CODMW3 at 20 FPS. You'll rage quit.iStorm said:You basically restated

You honestly don't understand what I'm trying to say.
Those resolution are nerly same resolution of two screens.
19.2 FPS will not be playable, Human eye can only see around about 27 FPS.
It'll be fain for casual use. But for gaming, it won't be playable.
Also, compare 1920x1200 to 2560x1600. Huge performance decrease.
Immortality said:I am simply saying. That having two monitors puts more stress on his GPU.
Higher resolution = More stress on GPU.
