In-Forum Chat Box

I've been looking at some other small forums lately and noticed that some have chat boxes somewhere on the screen.
I think incorporate something like AIM but integrated into the site. This way you could talk directly to the members rather then risk getting scammed by an Impostor on a site outside of FK such as AIM or Skype ect. I just think it would be a lot easier then having to ask for someones AIM/Skype or waiting for a response via PM.

Seems like a great Idea. I could really see this benefiting the community.

But shout boxes are toward everyone, unless you click there name or whatever to make it private. I'd still prefer dealing over aim. Lol
I wouldn't mind having a shout box like Ttg where it's under it's own tab and not right in the forums though. Lol

Could be like the fk chat on aim

This has been suggested so many times, it's not going to happen. It will drop activity so much, and we don't even have much activity so this wouldn't help at all. I believe we have an irc somewhere though.

Yeah the best thing to do is join the FK aim chat.

This will never happen. For one it will drop activity on the forum and will just waste people's time joining and 2, it's another thing the Staff/Mods have to moderate.
