In God We Trust But Are We Doing Our Part?

God will always provide I know that. But it seems like a lot of people just wait for something to happen. I think it is best to ask for guidance and blessings in Him and pray that everything will happen according to His will but we should also do our part. Like for instance, instead of waiting for a job interview, look for one. Study hard instead of just waiting for someone to give you the answer. Make a way and risk instead of just dreaming and just praying. God wants us to do our part too. He wants us to learn how to fish instead of just giving us the fish.

very well said,we should not also depend everything to god we need to do our part to make things happen. we can ask for guidance so that we may walk on the right path and decide for the right thing.

Let me make it simple , god is just as a sign of luck but the god will never determined our future.So we are the one who must put effort to make sure our future is in secure place. We must hard work and work smart at the same time to make sure we have good opportunity to succeed in our life. Remember god is just a sign of luck.

ya nice thread i think let me tell you some are telling if your luck is good you are going to success but its wrong atleast you wont try it you cant get any thing you should atleast forward a step towards your aim then god will help you

yes in GOD we trust,,meaning well praise him,thanks him and hold to his promises...but for us,,as a human we need to do something.. in this wold.
be thankful for everything that we had.

yes i agree with you, we must work for it. not just sitting waiting GOD bless. GOD will bless the person that have to work hard or try to achieve something. the one that not waiting something fall from the sky

This is a nice thread, but I am understanding it in a different way... doing our part means for me "it is our responsibility to God", that we always trust him but when it comes to following him it was a failure.

Well I don't mean anything its just that sharing how I understand it. But all in all this thread you started really makes sense and interesting.
