Increased minimum character length per post

Hello,

I, along with the site staff have decided to increase the minimum amount of characters per post. This action was taken to try and cut down on spammy/low quality posts such as 'thank you', 'thanks for sharing this to me', etc.

We are a community about quality, not quantity. I feel this action is perfectly reasonable, since this site offers such good PaidToPost rates, it would be foolish of me to pay $0.02 cents for a couple of characters, I'm sure you can understand this.

Old minimum character limit per post: 45
New minimum character limit per post: 100

That's an increase of 55 characters.

This is an example of what the old limit was.
This is an example of what the new limit has been changed to for the site as of today (21/03/2011).

If I don't see an increase in post quality, I will most likely increase this again.

OK, I think you should lower the rates of pay to post, but keep the minimum characters the same.

I think 100 is a fair deal as long as space count, 123 its really not that hard to do 100 characaters. Take for example this sentence is over 142characters and took me 10seconds to write... But maybe we could decrease it down to like 70 seems fair.

I think 100 characters is fine personally, it will try to stop low quality posting

Fair enough for me. But at those sections where we have random games or counting ones should be lowered to like 20.

Only problem is; I can't set invididual character lengths for each section, it's a global setting.

100 char is fine for me as because the rates are very nice and I m premium so no problem for me. I get double rate
