I'm suggesting we change it from "Initiations and Farewells" to "Initiations"
Farewells only bring negativity. It makes iter members leave, and we shouldn't have it here.

Agreed, no need to post that you are leaving, people will notice when your not active...

I disagree. It's starts forum drama. Plus that section should be positive things. Not one positive post then 4 negatives. It's to make new members feel welcome. What's your impression on a site that you just joined, you go to make an introduction thread, and the last threads have been farewells. Your opinion on the forum would drop. And members leave everyday. No need to make a thread for it. Doctor is 100% right imho.

I dont agree with this, its a good thing to have so members like myself can let others know they wont be on as much/not at all.

I have thought about this. But if you notice every single person that has made a farewell thread has been here everyday since.
