Instagram Handle?

Does anyone know how to check if an Instagram username is available or not? I know I can do it though my iPhone but I wanted to know if it was possible to do online.

Just go to the url
for example mine is www.instagram.com/wolf
if its not available the account will be there, if it is available it will say this http://gyazo.com/eb5900a65604863b4b84ecb14ad9eb29

I don't know any possible methods except for http://instagram.com/username


And if the username is available, I register the account, and sometimes, Instagram is glitched and so it said no one had that username / it is available and when you make it, it's not.

You would have to download a emulator of a phone and use that.
