Just bought it and its now running live on our website its a great forum and its very fast.

When we begin to expand a ipb/vbulletin would be ideal

I prefer MyBB, we use IPB on a site I'm a moderator of and I don't like it, your site now looks a little messy in my opinion, MyBB was far better.

Also, it's invision power board not invasion power board.

We switched to IPB becaus the mybb theme just looked ugly and a couple other issues and we decided it would be better to have a IPB board. Because it really doesn't matter to much because really its just a forum.

Yer sorry about the spelling mistake it does beat mybb in ways it has alot more to offer and its faster but the theme i dont mind and its basic and basic is fine for any users.

I actually disagree, it is a really nice on, simple and appealing

You don't need much more.


I prefer IPB, themes can be easily developed and find better ones... The most important in my opinion is the content

I love MYBB don't get me wrong.
But I do think IPB is better. In the standard of it.
It depends on your Forum whether it fits or not.

i must say mybb is great, fast, free, and VERY customizable , vbulletin is much fun tho

I can say that i don't have much experience with any of it. I am acitve on forums that use myBB and I'm satisfied with it.

IPB sucks in my honest opinion. So does any other forum software besides mybb and vbulletin.

IPB is about $100 brand new. pBB and myBB are both free. I would just goes with myBB if not going to be way popular forum.

I always wanted to get IPB but just find it quite costly sinc eit is not a one-off charge it is continous.

The site is down due to money issues. you can find a forum powered by IPB by just googling powered by IPB and it should pull some up right away.
