iPad 2 vs. Asus Eee Pad Transformer

Which is the better tablet? I really think the iPad 2 is absolute crap but I've heard a lot of good things about the Asus. Especially the price.

i would personally go for a ipad 2,ive used the apple ipad first gen and it is great. with the asus you wont get any apps.

Well it's Android powered so it has the Market. Is it gonna have only a few apps on the Android Market?

I myself prefer Apple products more than Asus , but i have heard some good things lately about the new Asus Eee Pad ! :=) Now i am reconsidering my opinion .

I would really like more opinions because for once, I have no idea what to buy. It's a really tough choice.

I personally prefer the android system, just because the customization and usability of it. On the ipad, you have one general layout and that's it. On an android tablet, there are a ton of different ways one can set up their tablet to make it the best user experience for their own personal needs. Between widgets, multi tasking, and customization, I feel like Android tablets are the better buy, but that's just my personal opinion.

I've always favored Android too when playing around with my friend's phones.

But does the Asus have a wide selection of apps?

iPad 2 of course. No one would ever buy a product with such a complicated/long name. Just keep it simple people. I haven't tried the Asus Eee Pad and doubt I ever will. They're just trying to copy Apple which I don't like.

Hmmm...Samsung Galaxy? I'll have to check that out. I tried out the Apple iPad 2 just two days ago for the first time. I have a few quirls with it but it seems to run fine. However it is WAY overpriced so I'll look into other tablets.
