Ipads - Useless?

We all know that there are Iphones, which are Ipods & Phones, mixed together. This truly is an awesome creation from Apple, I use mine daily. Music, texting, talking, web surfing, and more.

Then there's the Ipad, it's basically an Iphone, without the texting, music, or calling, and beefed up in size. It's about the same size (iirc from the Apple store), probably a little smaller then a laptop. It's good for watching movies, and surfing the web. But, otherwise it's pointless in my opinion.

Why spend a lot more money on a bigger Iphone, that doesn't do as much?



I don't even know why I want one so bad, it's probably just bandwagon appeal.

You need to get one to understand.

My dad's company bought him an iPad 2 for his work, and it helps him a lot at work (He's connected to Wi-Fi there).

What can it do that a cheap laptop or Iphone can't? I'm sure having one would help, but that won't be for a while.

Well I just thought of two quick things; it has a touch screen and it's bigger than an iPhone.

I can't think of everything right now, but I'm sure you can find the info somewhere else.
