iPad 2

The renowned tech site(engadgets) claims to have learned that Apple is likely to meet its preferred 12-month cycle for the iPad refresh.

With the original tablet launched in April 2010, Cupertino is expected to launch the second-generation iPad some three months from now.

What’s more interesting, Engadget notes, is the hardware comprising Apple’s new tablet.

According to the sources quoted by the site, iPad 2 will feature dual cameras, a “super high-resolution” display, an SD card slot (placed where it was believed iPad 2 had a larger speaker built-in), and a dual GSM/CDMA chip made by Qualcomm.

iPhone 5

The same sources are alleging that the next-generation iPhone will be a “completely re-designed handset” equipped with a new Apple-branded A5 CPU and the same dual GSM/CDMA cellular/data chip found in the new iPad.

As reported yesterday, with the seeding of iOS 4.3 betas to developers this week, Apple indirectly confirmed not only the existence of three new iPads, but also new-generation iPhone models.

At least two of the products designated in various code strings found in the iOS SDK were, and still are believed to be CDMA and GSM versions of Apple’s iPhone 5.

Moreover, people who are allegedly familiar with the activity on Apple’s Cupertino campus are claiming to have learned that employees are already testing next-generation iPads and iPhones which bear no physical Home buttons.

Apple TV 3

Apple is not stopping here with the hardware refreshes for the first half of 2011, these people allegedly said.

A third Apple TV is also set to come out of Cupertino, borrowing the allegedly ultra-powerful A5 processor “cranking out 1080p video ‘like running water.’”

I love Apple and everything they do so no it is not a fad and in fact it is already so perfect that it will never change
Still too pricey for now. Hoping prices come down soon.

Oh.... I just bought my iPhone 4 like 2 months ago.
This better not be true.
And if it is, than this is going to be bad making their loyal costumers buying a new iPhone...etc... Considering that Droid has been advancing.

Yer dont Apple update everything each year.

The 3GS was released June 19th 2009
The 4G was released June 24th 2010
So I wouldnt be surprised if the 5G is released sometime in June 2011

Thats why i get pissed off when my mum says, well its your Birthday soon, lets see what you get then, by that time the next thing is set to be released.

Although saying that, due to the problems in Japan, there is a posibility of delayed delievery of key components.

Also saying that, whos to say that the next iphone will be the Iphone 5. There was a 3GS, so theres a posibility that it could be the 4GS. Although saying that aswell. Iphone partnered up with verision eariler this year to fix antenna issues with the 4G.

There are rumours of a metal chassis, i personally like the sound of a brushed metal backing. If this is true then it would be an antenna idea.

There are also rumours of a smaller Iphone, the Iphone nano, but personally i dont think this will every appear. It seems to gimiky, too novelty.

Ok enough with the little rumours, lets get on with the top stuff.

One of the most likely things to appear is NFC. Some of you may have seen these cards that you pass near a reader and it reads your information. Sometimes called Contactless Technology, Near Field Comunication has already appeared as modification on some older Nokia's, and apparently it appears in the new Nexus S, but i cant confirm that. Its basically an easier way of paying for things at shops etc, if you google it you'll get better info. Im sure it will be released soon within the Apple area.
