Is bullfighting acceptable in modernity, or should it be banned?

Bullfighting is banned in most countries, and has been banned more recently in some countries and regions with long histories and traditions with the event. Most notably, bullfighting was banned in 2010 in the Spanish region of Catalonia and its largest city Barcelona, where it has a centuries long history and attracted international fame. This means that anti-bullfighting activists can be charged with a crime and a substantial fine for disrupting the patrimony of bullfighting and Spanish culture. These historic actions have re-enlivened the debate about bullfighting in Spain and around the world.

I think those activists are way crossing the line too much, It is a tradition, Quoted "TRADITION". Where in, it is only an annual routine. If a 1 or 10 bulls were killed in that bullfighting arena. It would be replaced by more than several bulls in just 1 year.

Well I think they are not more popular in here Asian Countries so i think that they should be banned because history suggest that it is very harmful to humans and also why to trouble the innocent animals just for the sake of entertainment

Bull fightinf is very old cultural festival of Spain, they enjoy it a lot, so i dont think that it should be banned as the culture reflects the colors of the country

I guess it is a tradition in a particular culture and that's the part of country's event and celebration. I don't know have much idea of how this bull fighting goes. If that's part of the culture I believed its hard to stop it. I've seen them on TV few times and a bull was killed before he was nearly killed the matador or what you called it. There are many watcher of the show which means people in that place are really like it. I guess it is the same with cock fighting. Were rich people spent thousand to raise one to win the fight. The only difference is in other countries they are using bull and here is a fighting rooster that one of them surely died after fighting. Besides that, we have horse fighting here as well which is common in some barangay fiesta or community day.
