I am a Filipino, so my first language is Tagalog. But since I am a Filipino, in all our schools, English is somewhat the major language, so English is a close second. And again, since I am a Filipino, and in the Philippines we have many other dialects, I also know some Filipino dialects.

In our country tagalog is our language. The english language considered as our secondary language, which used in communicating to other western countries for business purposes only. But, as we've noticed, most Filipinos give more importance on English language rather to Tagalog language. They believe, if they fluently speak in english, they considered themselves as rich and belongs to high society.

Well, My mother tongue is Punjabi, but English is must from school onward so we know to read and write in English as well. Apart from these two I can speak twelve other languages out of which some are dialects of on eof our main language that is Hindi and some of them are full fledged languages.

English is not my first language but I am using English most of the time to communicate with others. I am well-adversed with this language than my first dialect -Cebuano (a certain dialect from the Philippines). I can speak French and German in a conversational way. I do read, write and speak Korean. I could also understand Japanese and a bit of Chinese because my cousins are Chinese and I taught in a Chinese school for two years. I could speak Hindi and Spanish, too.
