Is falling in love with someone a choice?

My opinion -

It's not up to you. God will decide when, how, why and with whom you fall in love with. If you do fall in love. You may live an independent life. For that, you shouldn't be sad you don't have a spouse. Be glad for God knows you don't need someone else. Live a happy life. If you are reading this, Have a Wonderful Day!

I was married and it seemed like her choice to cheat and hurt me when we lobed each other at one point.

That was absolutely her choice. A very poor one at that.

I do not believe that falling in love is a choice. It just happens. I've been in love once before, and it is a feeling unmatched by anything else.

Falling in love is definitely not a choice. You can't help who you fall in love with. It can either make you feel good or helpless. Most of the time helpless.

Falling in love, no.
However, the actions leading up to it are fully your choice.

What a selfish thought, to think that a god is monitoring and assisting your everday life. Doesn't that contradict free will?

Anyway, this is a tough one. At a spousal level, sure, it is a choice. But loving your family I dont think is a conscious choice.
