Is it ok to scam back?

Scamming is super bad, Personally if I see a user getting scammed/ripped off i'll jump in and sort it.

Ok I dont think you guys understand. Say someone scams YOU. now the SAME PERSON wants to deal and he is willing to go first. Do you revenge scam them and give them a taste of their own medicine? For me its a yes. I would and I have done it. Even if he didn't scam me but instead scammed my friend then offers me what he scammed and maybe something else I will scam them and GIVE BACK what was originally scammed and keep the other item to teach them a lesson. I did this to KALVIN and boy did he get butthurt. He was so mad and had the audacity to say "Why would you take the tag back" (I had my friend pull it back) and I said "Why would you scam everybody that ever tries to deal with you"

Some people just need to get either 'a taste of their own medicine' or 'get what was not theirs taken back'

If I see a deal on the marketplace and someone is overbidding I'll pm the user telling them there overbidding, simple, same will go if someone is getting scammed and the user doesn't see it.

A scam is paying for something or trading something and a user doesn't hold their end of the deal up.

If you scam the same person who scammed you, I don't have a problem with it.
But if someone scams you and you scam somebody else, that's not cool.

I've never personally done it, but if I had the opportunity to take back something I got scammed out of from the scammer I would take it back.

Why wouldn't you scam back? If it's the same person that scammed you, what is the logic in not receiving your money? It's still YOUR money. If this wasn't over the internet, you would do what you needed to, to get your money back. You don't just let someone steal hundreds of dollars from you. That person still owes you something from the last deal, and if they're stupid enough to go first to you, then why not.

You say scamming back is just as bad, but if you had the opportunity to charge back or call in whatever they stole, would you do it? If so, how is that any different than scamming the person back?

If someone scammed an item from you and later on down the line you run into that person and get the opportunity to get it back then I say it's fine. It was your item in the first place so you should be able to take it back from them if they took it from you.

Items do get passed around though so it wouldn't be okay if the scammer sold it to an innocent person and then you scammed it from them. This is just my opinion, by no means am I telling you to scam anyone.
