Is it possible to "Secure" a youtube channel?

Ive had the same problem bro i was unaware how to fully secure the youtube account, i added alts, linked emails did the two step verification and one day it got taken back becuase they new the original password so without knowing that its pretty much a useless account and it will most likely be taken back bro :-(
