Is Karma real?

I personally think karma exists...a couple days ago I was on my way to family fare at about 2 am with my buddy, buying him food as he hadn't eaten in like 3 days and has no home to stay at the moment...then inside family fare, 3 dudes in college having a party were buying alcohol and shit, they needed 10 cents, and I had just a dime in my pocket, gave it to em. They thanked me and gave me like $8 and then bought me a pack of cigs, and gave me a half gal of captain.

I think karma is real

Karma ain't real. It's just being nice, and being mean. If you did something good and time traveled into the future 15 years, you wouldn't receive any more good than as if you never did your action in the first place.

I would like to think karma is real. But all in all, it's just something you think happened because of another incidence prior.

How is that even karma? You gave them what they needed, and they reciprocated with even more of a reward. I don't think you understand karma.

Karma doesn't exist at a supernatural level, however, certainly can be examined at a level of simple cause and effect, what you do to others or your environment is going to effect you in some way. Your behavior will dictate how others interact with you.

I would also like to mention, you aren't being a nice person if you expect something good in return, which is the underlying expectation with karma.

Karma doesn't exist. If it did, I could go outside and murdur millions of people and they "deserved" it for a past deed.

Explain what you mean by "Things do bite you in the ass for doing wrong one way or another." if you won't explain it with Karma.

Karma is associated with hinduism, and buddism, i dont believe in that. Like for whatever wrong you for you get a consequence for it.

EX) Like a man rapes multiple women, if he gets caught he'll be raped.

Like whatever dirt you're doing, will eventually come to light in a worse way.

Ahh, so basically you're saying inevitably - if you do something wrong there will be consequences?

Fair enough, I guess I just like to think good coincidences as good karma

No. Karma is just a form of justification to "dumbing down" the punishment factor, as I like to call it. In other words its another means of escapism.

Humans are escapists. 'Nuff said.

It's all just a coincidence. My next door neighbor thinks it's real and I think I moan at him like 10 times a day to say ITS NOT REAL! So frustrating, also:
1. If they gave you like 8$ couldn't just get change?
2. That's not really karma, that's just someone/some people being kind.

Karma isn't real at all. Some of the greatest people I know have been amazing all throughout their lives but have had awful things happen to them.

For example, my best friends house burned down and his mom died all within about a year and a half.

However, being nice can have effects in the long run and vice versa.

I don't think karma is real. It's all psychological imo. If you think something bad is going to happen long enough, something bad will probably happen.

It depends, some bad people get away with everything. But it's always pretty satisfactory to tell someone 'Karma bitch' after they did some bad shit and got some bad shit in return
