Is my email account hacked?

Hi There

Something strange happened. Actually I tried to register on a forum, and trust me, I am hearing about the forum for the first time.

But when I attempted to register, the error appeared, saying that I have already been registered with this email.

It's a Gmail account, and users in that list are telling me that I am sending them Spam emails, advertisements etc.

Do you think my email has been hacked? And that someone is already using it?

i think ur account its really hacked. As without hacking hw can ur mail automaticaly send spam mails and ads and I think someone had hacked ur ac. If so its quite bad i suggest u to change ur ac password.

Yeah certainly 100 % sure your email is hacked. google never use your email to send advertisement or spam to others email right ?
Now what you must do is change password. :Smile:

there is a strong possibility that it might just be a prank but, if it continues for seriously long then i shud say u should check your account rather delete it in my opinion if u still can.

I have also got such case usually i used to yahoomail and once I have work with email and I have changed my password also but when I log in after sometime than I can't avialble to log in, I dont my account is hacked or it has never used so it has deleted.

u might accidently clicked on any virus link. That also can cause your email send spam mails to others.

I think it is chinese hackers at work who are trying to hack so many Gmail accounts of users. Google is banned in china. I am sure you account has been hacked as yoiu get those mails as yoiu never sent any. Moreover google never uses any ones accounts for ads, its policy matter.

Yeah it is definitely. If your email is doing activities that you never do, then it is really hacked. best thing you can do is change your password regularly. A combination of letters and numbers helps a lot.

Well email can be hack if it is use for business purpose , well usally through email people use to hack accounts not email , this fraud emails is called fishing email so always open your account from main url site

I'm really sorry to hear about that.
All I advise you is to delete your current email account and create
a new one.
And prevent yourself from clicking any links from your email..
This links might have a keyloggers or spywares attach on them so be careful..
Do not just give your email address to anyone you never know..

youve been hacked by someone dude, if someone uses it meaning he hacked your email it must be people might know your email address or you are using other pc and you might forgot to logout your email address

Give Me The Forum Name And Page Where It Says U R Sending Spams I Will Check. If It IS Hacked then Your Computer Has Trojans So please Run Malwarebytes Or Any Antivirus Program You Have Got Protect your Identity And Yourself

did you sign up to any suspicious sites? did you use your email password for another site? i suggest changing your password or creating a new email account. delete your current email account if that is possible.

One of two things.

1. Someone hacked you and got into your e-mail.
2. You did something stupid, and now some has a hold of your e-mail address and is now abusing it.

Don't do stupid things with your e-mail address is all I have to say. And for now, get a new e-mail address.

Also, have an e-mail for personal and business things, and have another e-mail for fun things. It makes it a lot safer, and it also makes it easier to organize.

it's obviously hacked it happend to one of my old accounts as well, they never seem to change the pw just spam out mail im assuming it was being sent out to people threw a program as none of my mails were ever opened.
