In Hindus consumption of Beef is prohibited and similarly in Muslims Pork is prohibited! Is there any thing like this in your religion which prevents you from eating a meat from a particular animal? Please respond! Thanks !

i knew only about these two as am a Hindu and i have few of Muslim friends so i know about their culture.even i am interested to know about other religious restrictions too.
but what i feel that if we are true followers of our religious god,then we should not consume meet at all.
lol I am a Hindu but I eat beef. Guys I think you havent tasted beef. Its very tasty like a dog meat or pork meat. I am Manipuri and Eating beef is main food in our Community.
