Is this a good idea?

I was thinking of this since I have 36 koins.

36 Koins buys Onyx from the shop.

What if I created an "onyx giveaway" where I gave away Onyx to somebody after the thread reached a donation of 36 koins, this would let me giveaway endless upgrades with the contribution of the community.

It's just an idea, let me know what you think.

That's basically what I mean. I would hold a giveaway for Onyx, and give it away when 36 koins have been donated to the cause.

i hosted one of these a while back and didn't get enough attention (that was when the forum was really active) and kids were anxious to see who would get it and in the end they just wanted their koins back because it took too long

It's a good idea, but make it somewhat difficult to get. Like, whoever posts xxxx amount of times in your thread etc. Give it a challenge.

What @gunnar said, i hosted one like last year and it takes forever. You'll have to put like half the koins needed in order to do it.
