I get this 4/5 times I try to load RS 2007.

Starts normally...

26Jzm

And then...

26JtQ

26Jwq

26Jxv

Have searched everywhere, can't find a solution. Only happens with RuneScape 2007.

It's not Jagex's end. As Gengar said, try reinstalling Java, preferably the lastest version.

Reinstalled Java, allocated more ram and the problem continues still.

Have you tried using Chrome?

Have you tried using Chrome?

I am using Chrome. Tried Firefox and IE too.

And the same thing happens with all three?

Strange. I get a similar error with FF, but Chrome seems to work fine.
I had the exact same error a while ago, can't remember what I did exactly to fix it though :\

Exact same thing with all three of them.
I've been searching around but almost all the solutions say the exact same thing: "reinstall/update Java and restart your computer"

Are you by any chance running Windows 8? If you are right click on the shortcut for chrome and select Windows 7 for compatibility mode.

Are you using avast too? If you are try disabling it and running it, some people have been having the same problems as you and disabling it worked for them.

Yes I'm using Windows 8, also using avast, how do you know everything I do? o_O

Well I added java.exe and javaw.exe as firewall exceptions, seems like it worked.

Well, you see I am a ninja and I was just right behind you.
Quite disgusted at what you were looking up, so I left.

Jokes, but I am a ninja. A magician never reveals his tricks.

Hope you don't get the problem again.

I continued getting the problem, so I lastly tried what you said, I disabled avast for 10 minutes and well, it worked perfectly again.
Thanks, would have never thought it was the antivirus, I don't see why it would do something with something that is trusted like RuneScape. Now looking for something like an exception for it.
