What if Jesus was just a very good magician and he was looked up as holy/godlike, because the people didn't have a valid explanation?

Just something I thought of while taking my exam...​

If I was the Devil I would disguise myself as a man and tell people how to live and claim to be the son of God to gain people's trust. Preform miracles and have everyone on my side and blind them with ignorance by saying god was made in your image and cause more wars, death, and destruction by putting in the heads of humans they are different because of what they call themselves.

I'm pretty sure if Jesus was a magician it would of been known by now....

Why put a name to something you don't need to? I believe we live and die and I plan to be happy.
 
Jesus didn't exist. There were several "gods" born of a virgin on December 25th, with a star in the East, and 12 disciples. Sol, Mithra and Horus are just 3 examples, there are others and they all have slight variations from each other. Anyone with common sense can see that the story of Jesus was stolen from earlier civilizations, look it up.
 
I'm not religious but I think a Jesus existed. He was a relatable, charismatic guy who people sympathized with and he was well liked. Maybe he did some nice things, and then the stories went on and on with exaggeration over time.
 
I believe in christ and he did exist you guys can not say what you dident grow up by my parents were very religious yes In my belief he existed and still does

He was a very smart magician. Tricked a lot of people.
 
Well i have a similar theory about the virgin Mary, I think she was just a whore that accidentally got prego and when her assigned fiance found out she was like I SAW GOD AND HE TOLD ME... etc
 
It's a nice theory, but I doubt it. I think Jesus did exist and he did bring Christianity to the world, but all of the other things that supposedly happened, did not.
