Just wondering, i have started smoking but i dunno how just happened cuz doing it at a party, and over here in England the smoking age is 16 but you can only buy it at 18??? and i was like wtf???

so i can't buy any =/

anyone know why this is??

i live in England and im 16, its legal to smoke at 16, but illegal for me to buy the cigarettes beacuse you gotta be over 18 to buy them... =/

I think this is kind of like the same in Canada, only with alcohol. I believe you are allowed to drink at the age of 18, but you can't purchase until you are 19.

That's weird. In australia you need to be 18 to smoke and 18 to buy. If you look under 25, they ask for I.D

In NZ it is legal to smoke or drink, you just can't buy it.

Sorry cant help you out here. There is no age limit at my country, even a 10 year old kid can buy a pack of cigs.
