Is the Korasi special based on your max hit via magic or att/str together?

I'm not quite sure.

The attack is Magic-based and not only automatically hits (even through protection prayers), but in a single-combat area, will deal anywhere between 50% and 150% of the wielder's maximum melee hit in damage.

I have no idea on this, but it can hit massively. I always get rapped by it on my main.

Many people use protect mage, therefore, I assume it's a magic based attack.

It's magic based but it's 50% or 150% of your MELEE max hit. :/
