As most of you already know, whenever someone gives or receives kudos from another member, there is no alert shown to indicate it.

From my experience, I think it would be a lot more convenient to be alerted when you're given kudos, rather than having to check manually every time.

This is an example of what the actual alert would read:

'Solar gave you kudos for this post.'

This isn't exactly something that is necessary for the forum, but I do feel that most of us will find this addition helpful. Feel free to leave feedback below, or vote in the above poll.

Personally I have all alerts off. But I mean this couldn't hurt so why not.

I like this idea. Sometimes I don't even notice until I go back to a post and realize someone gave me Kudos. The only other way would be to remember the amount of Kudos you previously had. Good suggestion, should be implemented.

This could be useful I suppose.
A better solution would be to fix the 'Find posts with kudos' link.

There should be an option enabling you to get alerts for kudos.
If anything, fix the 'Find All Posts with Kudos' for much easier navigation.

Although that would help, there would be no need for that link if the alert was implemented.

Let's see what @Philly has to say about this idea.
