My parents said I can get a new laptop before Christmas because mine took a shit on me. Any suggestions on a laptop I should purchase? I'm looking to spend up to $1000 maybe a little bit more. The one that caught my eye was this one.

That laptop doesn't look good but it has 8gb ram and 750gb harddrive so yea
Its nice for its specs but Not appealing to my eye

I could careless about how it looks I just want a fast and reliable computer for gaming . My last one couldn't even play runescape without overheating. -.-

For 100$ you could build a better computer then Dell or any other manufacture will be able to offer you, my computer I'm building for 500$ will have better specs then that laptop.

I was going to get that one, but it's ridiculously huge. If you need it for school, I would not recommend it simply because its almost 10 pounds and awkward to carry.

This one is still pretty big, but it's way lighter. Honestly the only thing I want different is more CPU, I can run a few bots but nothing big.

The main use of it will be for gaming and some school stuff, mainly gaming tho.

You should be able to play Crysis 2 on medium setting.
