Since a HQ thread discussing Staff was closed by anal Staff I'll make another one. Ban me if you want - I'll just contact The Elite. Two posts need to be read from last thread:

But he didn't. He has excellent grammar and punctuation. He takes time to write what he says.

I'm not saying whoever locked his thread is power hungry and loves to flaunt around that green name
and act all big and bad....... however, don't see us, all of us non-moderator members, as lesser.
At the end of the day, you're the same person as all of us, some bored guy/girl in front of a computer screen.

Because of who you know and how close you are with them, more than likely that is why you are green.

It had more than the image, but the thread revolved around the image, that's not HQ, discussing an image. If you think it is not HQ, then get off your high horse and move to digitalpoint.

Activity revolves around threads - without them significantly less posts are made. Even if you go around bumping old threads, you'll get less replies. New threads = more posts. If a thread is made discussing an image, keep it. What harm can it possibly do? The staff are bored and quite frankly completely lacking the necessary common sense. Mike is worse than those, Chewbacca seems to have his head screwed on so that's one positive.

Also, listen to Pedobear. Make him Staff for god sake.


Mike, do something good for once, remove the incompetant Staff, promote Pedobear who is trying his damn hardest to keep the content coming (which all forums depend on) and clearly knows something.

You can move it if you want. Made the thread here initially because of the anal Staff closing threads in this section. Mike is the current head of Runegear yes, but it's still The Elite's site at the root. He's a close friend of mine.

After all, why was the last thread closed?
It should've been kept open to allow for further input/discussion. In case certain people haven't realized, what he's saying needs to be taken into account. These things should be discussed for the good of the community. Don't close every thread just because you don't like what it's about.

"1. No spamming posts. All posts must be of high quality (adding to the thread)". That's the only official rule that would apply to the threads which have been closed. I don't see any spamming posts in either.

None of the "etiquette" rules apply to us either. It's common sense to be more lenient on users when all they're trying to do is post content and discussions, not intentionally break rules.

Why in gods name would I want to start a thread intentionally to break site rules? I'm on a really slow netbook and I've got my own forum to run. The Elite is also a very good friend of mine and we've helped each-other numerously for a year+ now I think.

You're actually more moronic than I thought and can't come to terms with how wrong you really are. Everyone in that thread practically agreed me, you can see my rep page to see the users that agree with me, hell even a Staff member agreed with me.

You just go anal closing threads but why? What does it achieve? Would you not rather a thread with semi-HQ posts than no thread at all? Content is content and content means posts, posts means activity and that's what everyone is complaining about. Stop abusing and start helping the site for god sake. You're embarrassing yourself.

Don't know or care about activity, you can put him on a trial run or something. At least recognize his mannerisms, common sense and personality. He's better than the moron Mirage or w.e he's called. I'm not active here no, this isn't about me at all. This is about controlling your Staff, just because the site originated from Hack Forums - it doesn't mean it has to be identical to it. HF has thousands of active users, they don't mind sparing active contributors, Runegear needs active contributors.

Show your qualities by following your site rules. You have not once defended the threads being closed neither have you addressed them - so let's cut the bullshit, are you going to be a bit more lenient?
