I think that marijuana should be legal. I actually just recently did a debat about that. There are 100+ chemicals in Marijuana and 10% of those chemicals are toxic, but with the money used in protests we can rid marijuana of that 10%. And ik smoking can cause respiratory cancers, but u can take Marijuana in tea and in food/drinks.

I really don't see what there is to debate, prohibition literally never works, if there is demand there will always be supply regardless of what the law says. So if it's not working, which clearly it isn't it should be legalized and controlled by a government body so that it can be regulated for the safety of the public.

I'd imagine that someday prohibition will end, it simply has to. Governments can only paper over the cracks for so long, and those cracks are widening by the day.

Marijuana isn't man made ~ whereas alcohol is.


There's a reason they're not making it legal - and it's not because it's bad for you, because cigarettes and alcohol both have terrible effects from long term use. Open your mind if you disagree with the legalisation. My opinion is that it should be legalised, because it is so easy to get anyway - the government could just tax it like alcohol etc. and everyone would be happy.

It should be legal, I think it's completely illogical to keep it illegal. It has been proven that prohibition does not work (look at the alcohol prohibition in America from 1919-1933), the only difference now is that there is a HUGE social stigma against Marijuana and it's users. A lot of misinformation has also been spread which caused this social stigma to grow and grow. A lot of people are now researching into the real information though, and people's opinion's are slowly beginning to change.

I think it should be legal for over 18 year old's, regulated and controlled in a manner similar to alcohol, with licenses distributed (industrial and personal) to people who want to grow their own. Medical prescriptions should also be use for people who can benefit from the medical uses of Marijuana.
