My opinion is that you should change your thread title as quotes imply sarcasm and/or trickery. I also think we should send SOME troops in (keeping the American troops out though, just the other UN nations) and save the Libyan people.

I think that it is the same as when some of the European nations revolted.
Libya and Egypt are just a little late.

I completely disagree, without revolutions, there would be no communist/socialist movements. If we were to give them a burning bath, we would more or less do that to the rest of the revolts. And what would happen if our countries went into revolt, should we not be bombed too?

Unless you're implying something I'm not getting here, that seems like a double standard.

The chances of Libya becoming a socialist/communist state is very small.
Most revolutions spawn capitalist democracies.

This is true, but there are socialist/communist movements in post-revolution countries.
