Life on Mars

A meteorite, found in Antarctica in 1984 and known as ALH 84001, gives the main fodder to scientists wishing to establish a history of organic life on the planet Mars. It is believed to be around 4.6 billion years old and to have been covered with micro-organisms soon afterwards (soon being between 0.5 and 1 billion years). Around 16 million years ago, scientists believe, a comet or asteroid struck Mars causing fragments such as ALH 84001 to be thrown into space; this one fell into the Earth’s atmosphere some 13,000 years ago. ALH 84001 is a 1.9kg igneous plutonic rock, consisting of c. 95% orthopyroxene grains, c. 2% chromite, c. 1% maskelynite, c. 1% carbonate and other trace elements.

So do you believe that humans can exist in March?

The air and the temperature isn't still good for us. It's about -133°C in winter, in the coldest place, and +27 (this one is ok) in summer. And in the troposphere there's about a 95% of carbon dioxide... When plants start to grow, Mars will get some oxygen because of the photosynthesis, making a better atmosphere. Then we could live there if there won't be any aliens there!

Though that there is a possibility that other beings existed in Mars or can exist in the Red Planet. I think that if the planet is just as the same as our planet then we can exist in Mars. I'm not so sure but I think that most scientists speculated that there had been life in the planet some million years ago and eventually went extinct because of the planet's mishaps from other reasons. But, hopefully, since our Earth is getting smaller for all of us, space travel and space exploration would be so dedicated to look for another planet with the same topology as ours!

I can't say that i really believe because no one from earth has really tried to live there. But in case they say that they sent someone to live there for a year and he survived, then i would probably believe that people could live on mars

Well i hope we can live to mars before the world. But i think if it's your time and it's your time. But it is impossible to live on Mars number one is oxygen.

I don't believe that life, at least human life, can exist in mars as the most basic substances but essential to support life are not present in mars

I don't think there is life in Mars, even if some points are OK for life, the atmosphere is not apt for a life to grow..Human beings have to invent more information's about this...

There is still no evidence of life in Mars so I would only believe that when there is a concrete evidence that will prove life existed on Mars. We have been assuming for life in that planet because the position of it is so close to our planet earth. That is why they say it is almost possible for life to exist. But since there is no proof yet, then I just content myself with the fact that life is possible only here on earth and there is no other place like ours. So let us keep on preserving our planet because we have nowhere to go but here.

According to Scientists, if there may be life possible on Mars, but we cannot migrate there as a lot of fuel, energy and cost is needed to reach there and live there, so it is just for research yet

well i don't know if this things is true or ot , but there is some myth about lemurian, the ancestor of human in ancient time that have an advanced technology

many conspirator belive that they are the people who live in Mars before they go again to the other galaxy to search the new planet to live since their migration from earth.

maybe that is the reason for all of the things that we see in tv about there is a possibility of living creature in Mars

I think I would rather stay on Earth. Mars' cold temperatures might also cause you to think that the white flakes you see falling down around you and on the mountain tops are snowflakes, but they're actually crystals of frozen carbon dioxide (also known as "dry ice"). If fact, the Martian atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, so I guess you'll want to pack plenty of oxygen too.

Humans need water. If there is sufficient water on Mars
then humans can live on it. If there's water on the moon
humans can live there too.
Water is the key to life and human existence.
