Linux or PC

ahh, one of the most controversial subject known to man :wink:
always hits a barrier but really, what do you think?
I reckon linux is great for speed, performance and precision whereas PC is good for compatibility and social networking.

I think you mean Windows PC isn't an operating system.

Anyways definitely Linux it can do everything windows can do but better and faster, and doesn't gobble up RAM like Windows does. Also you can use it for social networking so im not really sure what you mean by that.

lol when i say pc, yes i refer to windows and yes, linux can be used for social networking i suppose but allow me to rephrase what i stated:
windows is a lot more... noob friendly i suppose

Ya it is easy but Linux really isn't hard, especially distros such as ubuntu. You could teach Linux in about the same time you teach someone to use Windows, assuming that person has never touched a computer in their life.

yeah well, I'm used to both of them... each of them I utilize for different things depending on what I want to do so the matter of the fact is that I can get almost anything done with 100% efficiency :3

whats wrong with VB. Many professional companies use it and is required for a computer science masters, its only bad for malware...

Windows for 1 reason - Compatibility.

Although Ubuntu will be close to as compatible with all the hardware and software.
