Logging in on campus?

Sometimes I get on the website at my school, and I am curious if this can get me banned? I go to one of the best community colleges in the country. It is pretty damn big. I know at least two members who log on here in numerous different computer labs. Who knows who else has an account here? I can stop logging on during school, but I get bored sometimes.

Basically can I get banned for this or not?

Well I'm just telling staff I'm logged in at school now. Every other lab has a different I.P.

If it's a different IP you're not going to get banned, my friend uses one wifi in school and I use the other and we've never had a problem.

You should be fine man.

Thanks for the information. I didn't expect help that quick!

Well what's the odds that any member goes to your school and is old enough to go to college.

My school is odd. There is a high school on the Mott Community College campus for at risk students. You get dual enrolled into college classes for free.

Your IP is not in correlation with anyone.

If it ever is and is not a school IP, you will be banned. Right now it's easy to tell if it's a school IP so you're cool.

I'm ah school right now as well. Sad if I get banned somehow lol

Yaw out school I'm sitting here like #dropout

Lol every computer has a different IP.

Yeah, Before I saw @Michael's post I was going to say that you can tell the difference between the correlation of facility IP's (hence they are most likely a business IP) versus going to a friends house.

Now I'm not going to say I am perfect, but I have been at friend's houses and logged on their network, but they don't have accounts regardless, and if it was a huge problem, they would let me know but it hasn't been an issue.

If you think you are going to have issues regarding where you can log in where you're not going to have consequences for it, just let a staff member know. @Michael, @"Gr33d" and @"Cann!bal" are the ones who would be willing to assist you with this issue, more or likely.

Cheers!

I sign in at school and sometimes on mobile. I haven't ever had a problem, and I've been doing it for almost 9 months.

You'll be fine. I've made it a year at a big university.
