I don't have much rep and I never go first while selling, over the past few years I've only made 2 exceptions and those were a deal with Seven and Coder. I've never really had a problem with customers not willing to go first, even when I just started out on hf and here.
Imo the customer should always go first, no exceptions.

same, I go first to some people who have less rep. Or if I'm buying something sometimes. Rep isn't as important as vouches.
