Long Distance

So due to a recent break up of mine, I've actually had this true love for a girl for about 9 months. We've talked and we love each other and she means so much to me.

My question is, what are your views on long distance. Let's just say the distance is about 1,000+ miles away.

I've been in a long distance relationship for over three years now, we're 1,174 miles apart and I know that distance just makes us stronger.

Early in the relationship we encountered problems, relating to depression and just the thoughts of never being able to see each other, problems with telling parents and all that..

However, ever since that rough end, we've met once (two months ago, it was perfect) and we haven't had a fight.. Honestly, the relationship is too perfect.

I think what you guys have is good, distance just makes a stronger connection, when you meet it'll be the most perfect and awkward moment you'll have in your life.. Trust me.

If you ever want to talk, just message me. I feel like we're in similar situations, and I really think you should make the relationship as amazing as it can be.

I was talking to my current girlfriend for over a year before I actually met her, she lived in Arizona and I was in Florida. Didn't meet her until August when I went to Arizona for College. They do work.

Strange how similar that is to my story, my girlfriend lives in Arizona and I met her whilst I was vacationing in Florida. I planned on going to college in Arizona before I'd even met her, so it's all going to work out well, hopefully.

I think they work. I was talking to this girl that lives about 6 hours from me. Dated for a while, then broke up for a different girl that lived near me. But I do think they work

Holy shit that sucks.. Honestly I don't think I'd be able to do it, I'd end up finding a girl and getting with her for the night, but the best of luck to you with your situation.

I've been considering it more and more now. Lately we've been sending letters to each other and it's probably one of the cutest things I've ever done and she truly means a lot to me.

Is that the same girlfriend you had the whole time?

Also Shark my friends went out for 2 years one moved a state away to go to college they broke up after 6 months of it. Then in the summer they got back together and are still together. So it works if you make it work.

Nope it's a different girl. A girl I've known for about 8 months and we've both come to the conclusion we are in love.

I'm considering it. Just it's hard for me to do nothing physical after being in physical relationships.

I find long distance relationships kind of funny. Like are there really no good girls where you live? I can't find it in myself to get emotionally attached to something I can't hold.

Distance is a huge factor imo and I'm not looking to drive out or fly out somewhere to see some girl.

That's the logic I had toward the situation before this girl. Don't get me wrong, I can easily get a girl in my area who's attractive and such but the catch is, this girl is like everything I want. The looks and personality and like it's almost like we are the same. Girls where I live are either whores or confused.

If they aren't that, they are intelligent but dead ass ugly.

We've been doing that for like a year.. It really helps, like we've sent each other stuff on birthdays and christmas and stuff.. If she really means a lot to you just go for it.. You won't regret it.

I do not think I would be able to deal with not ever being to see her and calling her my GF and not doing anything with other girls that I see everyday. Good luck to you though.

To be honest, I didn't either until I met my girlfriend.
