This debate has been around for a long time and it is about time we settle this once and for all...

The egg.

Evolution. Adaptation. Natural selection.

First there was this whatever the hell it was animal previous to the chicken as we know it today, natural selection, adaptation, changes in its body and more stuff. After that, a new specie came up. It continued to evolve and adapt to the environment until a new specie came up, and so on. Then, the "last specie" layed and egg, and from that egg came up the chicken as we know it today.

Saw this on Discovery Channel.

PopSci agrees. http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2013-02/fyi-which-came-first-chicken-or-egg

But then that leaves the question: What came first....the species that came before the chicken or its egg? And if you say egg then the question repeats for the previous thing that laid the egg that hatched the specie that laid the current chicken egg.

Obviously both were created at the same time by some God names Mikeypoo and then thus became the chicken and the egg.

On a serious note I think the egg came first. Because the chicken was not classified chicken till whatever gave birth or layed the chickens egg.

From a common ancestor. That egg came from some chickens ass that came from something that had evoluted that came from something else that was in the water which came from some bacteria.

Mike pretty much said exactly what I wanted to say.
