They would just be joining for a staff position.

i'm not trying to get members registered on my forum for staff, i'm wanting reliable users who can actually fix up the site a bit and help out with the forum to be staff.

I'm not offering my assistance but I'm here to give some advice. Get a custom theme made, reduce the amount of sections you've got and offer unique content. What do you offer that we don't receive here? People would much rather stay on here than post around on your forum if it doesn't offer anything new to them. Reduce the sections you've got because it makes your forum look inactive, slowly build up and once you get enough activity you can start expanding the sections. Also, make it apparent as to what your forum's vocal point is, is it a general forum? If so, make it clear to us (preferably add it to the forum title or add a slogan to your logo).

i wont be buying a custom theme until i gain activity and upgrade buyings. also, i'm not sure waht else to add to the forum to make users wont to explore it more :/
