I've seen some people saying they are missing posts, you actually arent. All I did was disable the post count in the 'Other' section and since that section has over 2,500 posts, It would of had an effect on those of you who posted in that area a lot.
The reason for this is because I'm going to re-introduce the PaidToPost system, so I'm doing everything I can to ensure that posts are to a high standard and to try and make the system work as best as it can, so I'm not giving out more money than I should be.
The old PaidToPost system worked using your post count, this time however It's going to run using points. For example when you reach x amount of points, I will subtract the amount you requested from your balance. Where as with the post count basis, It was harder to track how many posts the person has made since a former cash out. After a lot of thinking about this, I'm not going to allow donations for the points system, as this could be abused, nor am I going to pay for things like Poll Votes, Sending Private Messages and generally using the community. With the new system that is coming, you will only receive points for making new posts or new threads with at least 25 characters in them. I will also be limiting the amount of posts per day in the 'Other' section to try and cut down on spam and hopefully encourage people to start posting more variety.
As we speak, I'm working on a few more goodies for you guys, including a nice new portal, where users can submit videos and graphics.
