Not exactly bro pcs can easily surpass macs in price . The one nice thing about macs is they dont get viruses. But yet again they are very close minded in the sense that they dont allow many 3rd party softwares

Yea that's the only good part about Mac's they don't get viruses.

This isn't even a comparison. Everybody (rich kids) think macs are the best out there but they are fucking garbage. They are shit, shit, shit, shit.

I would have to go with pc. I dont like Mac

But honestly pc's get much more expensive i believe i saw one for 12k

I think Mac us better for many reasons.
1. As you guys said, no viruses
2. I think the editing program final cut pro beats Sony Vegas by a mile.
3. I have had the same Mac since about 6th grade, and its still very fast. (I'm in 10th grade now)

But everyone has different opinions.

This is not true. See years ago people never bothered to make them for the MAC because they didn't have to many users. Now they are getting popular so people are now starting to make them for macs.

The whole Mac vs PC thing is outdated. the best person to ask is me, simply because i have both. not trying to brag but i need both for fun and school. both have close spec (I will post at the bottom of the post). My Mac is better for anything creative like music, video, photo and general use such as browsing the web and what not. My PC is better for gaming and modding my xbox. Also my Mac, NEVER and i cannot stress this enough, never gives any trouble. It is simple were it count and complex where it counts. how it is also good for some gaming, just a smaller variety. My PC has en endless list of problems and its only a year old, but it is still standing so far. It is really up to your own personal preference and what you want it for but i would try both because you may not know what you are missing, well of course you financial status applies here but luckily im able to own both.

PC (Desktop) (Not made by me)
Processor: i7 2.8ghz 1st gen
RAM: 6gb 1600mhz
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 5870 1gb (x2) (total:2gb)
Hard Drive: 2TB (In RAID Stripe 0 or something)

MAC (Laptop)
Processor: i7 2.5ghz 2nd gen
RAM: 8gb 1333mhz
Graphics Card:ATI Radeon HD 6770M 1gb
Hard Drive: 750gb 7200rpm

so both are great, but if i had to choose for what i do it would be the Mac for sure

Personally, I hate macs. I've had some bad experiences with them.

I have both. I fucking hate the mac.
It takes about a fucking year to boot up and half the programs don't load.

Mac's are for "creative" hipster wankers.

i have a asus pc desktop and it fucking rapes, i would never trade this in for a mac desktop or whatever the hell you call em.
