Macbook Pro - Opinions?

I am going to be getting a Macbook Pro tomorrow, here are the stats.

2.0GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
MacBook Pro 15-inch Glossy Widescreen Display
Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide


Could I get some reviews, from people who have used a Mac? This will be for browsing, and also a bit of gaming. Mainly Minecraft & Runescape, and it seems like it should run those fairly well.


Please no hating, I don't care how much you want to. If you have a logical response, post that.

Indeed, for just running Minecraft/Runescape I think it should be sufficient.

If you're more into gaming I'd stick with Microsoft my friend bought a Macbook pro and it ran Counter Strike really slow.
But other than that I think you should get it.

I know it runs Runescape I've played rs on a Mac before it seemed to run perfectly fine.
Never tried Minecraft on it, i don't see why it wouldn't.

Mainly for 'Developers' and 'Programming'..

I think you got Linux mixed up with Mac.
Mac if for Designers and music artists, Linux is for Programming and Devloping and Windows is for Games.
