Oh my god, yessss!

Wings was the first song from him that I never stopped listening to, then it was Thrift Shop, now it's Ten Thousand Hours.

"The Heist" is one of the best albums ever. I love Macklemore. (and Ryan Lewis)

I don't understand the message of this song.

Wings is just one of those motivational songs, those uplifting kind without any direct message. Just one of those "He was in the worse situations, started getting better, *friend murdered* got worse, then he wanted to be better. Got better, etc, etc, etc.

There's no direct message from this song as far as I'm concerned, unless they are advertising the shoe brands within the song. Which I mean, why even advertise Nikes?

I hate how people only recognize Macklemore for Thrift Shop.

But yea, I love his music.

I didn't understand it, guess I wasn't really listening to the lyrics clearly. I thought it was about trying to be different than others or something of that sort, the shoes made it confusing.

That's understandable, there's different ways to see it as well I suppose.
Either way the rhythm and beat are still relaxing.
