So for the sake of this argument, i'm going to assume that all of the males said below are straight and i'm assuming that all of these girls listed below are straight. If you're homosexual or female, feel free to add what you wish.
I'm going to list some points about this subject that I have factually witnessed/experienced:
1) It's possible to become friends with a girl that you aren't attracted to. I have done it/am doing it, and I don't doubt you have either.
2) I have seen some people become best friends with a straight girl.
3) Most people I see are only friends, and not really best friends with any girl.
4) Most straight guys don't hang out one on one with straight girls as they would with one of their male friends.
5)Lots of couples often say their lover is their best friend.
6)Males often try to get close to girls by becoming their friend, but as they move closer and closer, they're just becoming better friends.
Alright, so now i'm getting philosophical, and I want your opinion on it:
1) Males will become great friends with a girl because they are attracted to them.
Males will become great friends with a girl because they think that person is a nice friend.
2)There is a boundary line that a straight man will not cross, in terms of friendship, with a girl because he is unattracted to her.
There is no boundary line that a straight man will not cross, in terms of frienship, with a girl because he is unattracted to her.
3) Males won't go out for one on ones with a girl, whom they aren't attracted to, because they are afraid of what society will think.
Males won't go out for one on ones with a girl, whom they aren't attracted to, because of some other reason (you can explain).
4) Males become good friends with a girl because that's what it feels like to in a relationship.
Males become good friends with a girl becuase they just like to hear they're opinion (Or some other reason you decide).
5) Males only bother to become good friends with straight girls that they are attracted to.
Males only bother to become good friends with straight girls because of (your reason).
6) Males simply don't want to lead the girl on, so they don't bother talking to them more than necessary.
The above statement is just straight up wrong.
So all the opinions that I view as correct are in blue and all the one's that aren't are in red.
Just simply list below the number of the ideal, and state blue(you agree) or red(you disagree). If you choose red, please state why.
DISCLAIMER: These viewpoints mainly apply to a heterosexual male, and they are most likely different in the viewpoints of a homosexual and a female.
Thank you guys for your time in reading this thread, I'd love to hear your guys' opinions. Feel free to add more stuff to your post.
