What does ForumKorner think about young children being given certain types of Marijuana to be "cured" of illnesses?

To be completely honest, I would have to be against this. I don't think that children under the age of 18 should take or smoke any type of drug. I know that there have been some cases where minors with illnesses have been cured but I think it's inhumane to give such a young child drugs.

I see this on discovery channel, where they gave a young girl with cancer Marijuana and she was smiling and growing her hair back.
They also had other kids with illness take a tablet which is like 10 bong hits in 1 tablet.
I also don't like this idea but in all honestly it's helping the kid's with the pain and the illness.

I support the use of medicinal marijuana. I support it because it eases the pain. Also, marijuana has been proven that it can slow cancer cells.

To sum it up, I think if it's bad enough to even have to consider it, then they can take it in EXTREMELY controlled amounts to avoid addiction.

As long as they are under control and not doing a bunch of stupid shit then yes, I do not mind it. Being a 15 year old being raised in Australia. I can point out many, many different people who smoke marijuana. Hell, even my teachers smoke marijuana. HELL, even police officers suspend marijuana off of people to smoke it themselves!! If it actually helps someone with their struggle, e.g: Depression, Cancer, etc, then I personally think that it is fine!

Here in the states a minor can get a medical card with parent approval but i can only be edibles and right now they are trying to pass a law in California that would ban dabs which is 50% of the legal marijuana sold in the state.

I'd actually like to weight in on this, I'm sorry to say but your whole way of thinking when it comes to this topic is warped. How can you say helping children with illnesses is inhumane? It's a much better and safer way of fixing a sickness than forcing pills down a childs throat.

Also @64bot you may wanna to look up your sources before you post, cannabis does not kill cancer cells it only slows the growth of new cells. Cannabis oil/wax is the one that's been proven to kill cancer cells, which is the reason @Shift dabs are being banned not only in California but in many other Medical states/Recreational states.

@Roy I'm sorry but did you say the word addiction in a thread debating Marijuana, you should know by now we've been testing Marijuana and it's effects at a scientific level for well over 20 years. An not one "real" scientific study has said that it has any addicting effect on the body.
