Maximum Number of Groups

This isn't about how many groups there are in total, but rather how many groups is one allowed to be in at one time?

I'm currently in 7 (Including the 3 Upgrade Groups), but I haven't seen anyone with more than 6 or 7.
Do the Upgrades count towards the maximum group limit if there is one?

I couldn't find anything about it in the FAQ or anything so I was curious.

Personally I don't think that there is a limit on how many groups, you can be in, including upgraded groups.

As far as I'm aware there aren't a limit. Me and @Fade used to be in like 8.

Theres no limit, just however many you can get in.

I was in 11 or 14 before I left them all. Can't remember the number, but it was way above 8. And that number wasn't including the upgrades either.
