Member of the Month

Hello ForumKorner,

I have a new suggestion that I would highly encourage implemented. I feel like this new suggestion would make a lot of users happy and feel more part of the community when picked. My suggestion is:

Make an award and call it: Member of the Month

We can have it where a staff member or anyone with high authority to choose 5 members who they think would have the capability of being the "Member of the Month". This would be extremely easy to do. We could hold this every single month and a member who already got it would not be allowed to participate in the next month.

This has been suggested like 50 times bro. Honestly if you want it so bad, just make the award yourself and start hosting it. Doesn't seem like Philly gives a fuck about it.

Fuck awards there's already too many on this forum, they aren't exclusive or anything so what's the point in having them?

I say no. Its usually just a popularity contest. Example ( on H F orgy got it twice, he's scammed dozens of people).

I agree with you, and while people are being negative, saying that it's just a popularity contest, I'd like to think the staff, Cann!bal, Justice, and Philly have a little bit more class than that. It doesn't have to necessarily be an award either. If could just be an announcement, like the FK new thread, and that user (if they aren't already upgraded) gets a free upgrade or something along those lines.

I support this 100%. @Philly maybe you should consider this.

That is an interesting idea,quite sure it was around in the beginning of RuneGear!
Also,let the nominees be picked by staff etc,and have a thread with a poll to select the member of the month.
Also,previous winner shouldn't be able to participate.

This. Just like on Sythe, it all comes down to popularity. Month after month, generally the same group of people get nominated and it starts to get boring fast.

On another note a user should only be able to receive this once a year.
