The Helpers group being a different group than the Support/other possible names group?

Or you think that'd be the one with the "possible staff" members?
 
The group should have a limited number of users and that would be anonymous since the invites would be sent via PM randomly to helpful members that Crayo, campbell think deserves it. If someone 'graduate', another invite can be sent out or if he gets kicked out of the group. I don't want to set any rules since I'm not a staff member.

That would eliminate the paid service some people offer (making pretty threads). It's something the support group could volunteer to do.
 
I would like to give a suggestion to the group. They should be allowed to close, open or junk their own threads.
 

What would be anonymous? It would be removed from the "Additional Usergroups" in the users profile?

Yeah, I'm also discussing this with an "ex-staff" mind.

I'm done here, don't want to go too far into things I have no say in, other than "Nice idea".
 

I meant to say that you wouldn't be able to apply for this group, you would be picked up randomly by a forum founder such as Crayo or LMCampbell.

I was thinking about the people that would probably qualify sometime to be a staff member, so they're in a pre-staff group that would be watched strictly by the board administrators.

Yeah the group would be invite only. Defeats the point of it if users could apply. As for opening/closing their own threads, sure. We'll see. We'll get the group officially launched tomorrow as we need Colum online for the userbars, and then invite who we are thinking of inviting.

GameOver, only people who are ranked under moderator(VIP, regular..) can be apart of this group as long as I know since the group members will probably become staff members their selves later on.
 
As you can see, there is one person in the Support group.

Well, you could do this but I recommend you only allow premium trusted members and only a few non premium trusted members to be janitors I think that the janitors to people ratio should be 1:4 so every four people we have one janitor.
I would be interested in this group and later i could make us a userbar.
 

That would mean far too many janitors.
+ He made the support group already.
