Hello and welcome to the very first MF News thread! It is currently 4/17/11, and I plan on making these every Sunday to help inform members of what is going on around the site and all of the sudden changes you have questions about or may see. We have the latest news of members and how well the site is doing. You can help me by sending information through PM's on what you think is worthy of being in these weekly threads. Lets start!
Member News
We have recently merged with a site to gain more members and keep an active community on MF (which has worked). But, the admin of the site we merged with, George, has been banned for reasons that involve being demoted and numerous attempts of trying to steal staff from this site.I, Wreck, Have been demoted from Admin because of in-activity, lack of posts and HQ threads. Hopefully I will once again take over my position as no admins are currently existent on MF right now. For now I will be staff and see how it goes from here!
And lastly, rampage2gene has been demoted because of low-quality and thread de-railing posts. He posts a lot and contributes, but the lack of HQ posts is very visible and hopefully he can turn that around. Good luck.
Site News
We now have added the MyAchievements plugin for MyBB, which you may notice under your user-bar. I have made numerous icons just for the plugin so your post count, online time and thread making are rewarded. Obtaining all of the original achievements will result in getting the (Master) Award!
A new group called "Support" has been added for the users that care for the site and follow all of the guidelines. For now, you can't apply for the group under the usercp.
