Windows 8 = Windows Vista


Even Microsoft admitted that they won't get that much profit out of W8.

Lol. You guys have no idea what you are talking about. Windows 8 is a W7 but needs less memory to run, I tested it my self, also I like the design.

why microsoft wont get much profit from W8? Because its for mobiles,tab computers and stuff like that. Not sure if it will come to pc tho.

Windows 8 is a tablet OS, nothing more. You know why? Because metro has massive squares made for touching, why else would you make a UI like that?. This is why it should not be a desktop OS.

It's expected that they make an OS for tablets when they're moving into that market.
It's not just blocks scattered in one UI. There's an option to have a desktop which can perform everything that Windows 7 can. On top of that, W8 outperforms W7 in nearly every aspect.

I don't see what the big deal is..

I know about the desktop UI, but why the hell would they get rid of the start button if they didn't intend you to use a tablet?

I dont really mind the look of t to be honest, i have a nokia lumia with the new windows mobile on it so ive kinda got used to it.

might put the beta on my desktop, is it available yet does anyone know?
