I am always game for a good documentary, whether its about society, the Universe, or a single event such as 9/11. I am guilty of neglecting them though.. its been a while since I sat down and did some listening instead of teaching. Ill share a few that impacted me, and I would appreciate if you guys shared a few back. Im open to anything really. Feel free to give a quick summary if you would like, it definitely helps.
Through the Wormhole - This is actually an ongoing series, narrated by Morgan Freeman. It covers plenty of intriguing concepts such as Time Travel, Aliens, Life after Death, etc. Extremely interesting stuff and you will learn a lot. What the Bleep!? Down The Rabbit Hole - A very informative and eye opening documentary on the physical universe and human life. It focuses on the spiritual connection between quantum physics and consciousness. There is an original version (2004) and a substantially changed and extended version that released in 2006. I suggest watching either. It too, is on Netflix.
DMT: The Spirit Molecule - An in depth look at the very chemical that makes you dream, Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Extremely interesting and informative. Joe Rogan is present throughout this documentary, he will take care of you
This is on Netflix, and just like the others there are multiple places online where you can watch them for free without download.
(Also, if you like Joe Rogan, check out his show called "Joe Rogan Questions Everything." He dissects and researches some overused things like UFOs and Bigfoot, but there are some really good episodes, I recommend the first one ever that talks about Weather Manipulation. He also has a great podcast called the Joe Rogan Experience for anybody who is interested)
Zeitgeist: The Movie - Chances are you have heard of this, watched this, and were going to recommend this to me. Im putting this as a deterrent so you dont do that lol. If you havent seen it and like Conspiracy Theories, give it a watch. Note: The original movie came out in 2007, but since then there have been 2 "follow ups" made. Zeitgeist: Appendum (2008) and Zeitgeist: Moving Forward (2011) You can watch all three on the official youtube channel here: http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
