Mobile Version

I kind of find using Forum Korner on a mobile device is a bit slow and hard to use.
I was wondering if you guys found that putting a mobile plugin here would be a good idea?

Yes I do agree with that, right now I am on my Blackberry , I think Quad is making an app for FK!
-hopefully for blackberry.

Quad actually made a mobile app for Android and soon to be ios as well. Its basically just different websites owned by Philly accessible through an app, but it is handy for on the go.

I know what you yiur talking about, but I have a blackberry and I want to know if Quad is still trying to make an app for it!

I have a better understanding of what you want now. I don't think anyone on this site has the knowledge to do that. Philly might be able to, but it seems like a lot of work to do so especially since I don't think many people would use a forum when they're not at home.

Everyday I get out of school, I wlk home, turn on blackberry..

And go on FK!

I have wanted to build a proper mobile app for Forum Korner in the past and I still want to. I have run into some issues for all platforms but mainly for the blackberry and IPhone platforms.

Firstly, I do not own developer accounts to BlackBerry or Iphone marketplace. So I cannot possible publish an APP even if I build it.

Secondly, In order to build the app Philly needs to install the MyForumRunner Plug-In. I have talked to Philly in the past about this, but he does not feel confident or secure installing their plugin into the website. Currently I am using a modified version of an APP i create on Android. I built some certain coded features that actually vibrates my phone when a post is reported. I would not be able to hand out this version to the community since the community is not in the 'staff group'.

If Philly can work with me on this issue and the community can provide me with Developer Accounts, I could probably be able to get the Official App up and running soon.

I believe there is a plugin called GoMobile or something for the mobile version.
