Modern Warfare 2 Laggy...

I have modern warfare 2 on my computer but it is laggy as crap.

System is :
Microsoft Windows Xp
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Computer

Intel(R) pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.00GHz, 1.00GB of RAM

But is the problem that i only have 4gb on my hard drive left when i install it?

Also my graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT.

Also the graphics look crap as well.....(maybe because i got a 17" screen)

I need help !

It's your RAM.
You have 1 GB of ram and recommended is 2.
If you have little ram AND only 4GB left on your hard drive after installing it, then those are both factors that cause you to lag.
Check your connection too. LAN, Wireless?

theres many things that cou;ld cause thew game to lag with ur pc


Too little ram
Too slow 3d card
And maybe the processor

Ram and processor and graphics card all need to be upgraded :|
Those are so last decade.

I have 3GB RAM, 2,7Ghz AMD Processor, and a 512mb NVIDIA GFX card,

Yet it also lags for me

I have the same problem, but yet i have 2gb Ram, and its a Alienware computer, its suppose to run it without any problems, but i tryed reinstalling it but yet it is still lagging a hell of alot,

Windows 7 home 64bit
Intel Core i5
2gb Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GT 335m

Recommended from experience:
4-6gb of ram (not joking)
3ghz+ quad core processor OR a six core (any)
nVidia GTX 4 Series (470 or 480 for optimal performance)
RAM $100 for a stick of 4gb ddr3
Processor about $200 for a phenom II x6 @ 2.8ghz
Graphics card is about $240
